Within the squares

方之间

Within the squares is a three-story residential project based in Hauraki. Similar to its name, a rich materiality palette, especially the warm timber cladding, the clean white plaster, and the transparent glass, is framed within multiple rectangular shapes. The creative approach towards architectural language has resulted in a bold and iconic form.

The planning of the house has used corridor carefully to separate indoor and outdoor space, bedrooms and living area. The first floor living area, balcony, and second floor master bedroom have included the sea view of harbour bridge. Full height sliding doors are considered for the ground floor living area and corridor to enhance the connection towards the outdoor garden and patio.
